Prologue: As everything is crumbling around Lark, he reaches his hand out and says, "Don't worry. I... will always be by your side". Then we see captions of some main characters of the series: Seere, Sia, Bathory, Setz, Carne, and Neal. The prologue ends with the appearance of Carmilla, who smiles and says, "Can you be satisfied by this?".
